The new motor suspension system of the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Evo Phono combines TPE technical rubber damping with high-mass mounting plates to create a sturdy, resonance free foundation for the motor. This kind of technology is usually reserved only for high-end turntables. The result is an even quieter and noiseless operation with less wow and flutter. Increasing the weight of the platter to 1.7 kg, the TPE technical rubber material is mounted to the inside of the platter‘s outer rim, creating the perfect transference of moving energy - the flywheel effect. Pro-Ject's TPE technical rubber technology now dampens this resonance completely. While the Debut Carbon's previous metal platter was already heavier and more accurate than any of it's competition, it inherently had a disadvantage: resonance.
